Abstract: In recent years, with emerging technologies, robots are widely used in all possible fields due to their high precision and repeatability especially during procedures which require fine movements beyond human control. Over the decades medical robots have gained acceptance in many surgical procedures for locating lesions accurately and assisting the surgeons in holding and fixing the instruments. Robotic surgery although is advancing exponentially but is still in its infancy and has unlimited potential in the future of orthopaedics and trauma.
