Abstract: Supracondylar fracture of humerus in children is the most common fracture of the upper limb. There is a lot of controversy regarding optimal method of treatment. Some others prefer lateral only pinning and others prefer crossed medio lateral pinning. We conducted a study at Mc Gann teaching district hospital Shivamogga to compare the results of lateral only pinning and crossed medio lateral pinning in supracondylar fracture humerus in children. There were 20 patients in each group. The results were assessed by as per criteria of Mitchell and Adams (1961) and Flynn’s criteria. There was no statistically significant difference in the outcome of both the groups when assessed by above criteria
